Migration

Import existing mail into Xurel Mailbox with dashboard-guided migration jobs.

Supported sources

  • Google Workspace (IMAP + OAuth where available)
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
  • Generic IMAP (other hosts)

Migration flow

  1. Create target mailboxes on your verified domain.
  2. Dashboard › Migrations › New migration — pick source type and credentials.
  3. Map source accounts → Xurel addresses.
  4. Run a test migration on one mailbox; verify folders and message counts.
  5. Run full migration; optionally schedule a delta sync before MX cutover.

Cutover checklist

  • Lower DNS TTL 24–48h before cutover.
  • Update MX to Xurel values from the domain DNS panel.
  • Update SPF/DKIM if not already shared with Email API.
  • Point users to webmail or reconfigure IMAP clients.
